Solihull Moors were delighted to have secured the signing of Maidenhead United forward Josh Kelly.
The 23-year-old arrived on a three-year contract, with the Moors paying an undisclosed fee to their league rivals at York Road.
Kelly was right up there in the goal scoring charts last season, netting 15 times in the National League as Alan Devonshire’s side safely confirmed a sixth successive campaign in the fifth tier.
Born in Windsor, the former Northern Ireland under 21 international has been at Maidenhead since the summer of 2015 – he joined having played for Ascot United and Windsor as a youth player.
Prior to his breakthrough at Maidenhead, Kelly spent time out on loan at Chalfont St Peter and Walton Casuals, bagging 40 goals for the latter in their promotion season.
With the Golden Boot, Manager’s Player and Players’ Player, Kelly cleaned up at the Magpies’ 2022/23 End of Season awards following his 17 goals in all competitions.
He departed York Road having accumulated 129 appearances and scored 27 times.
