A NO-NONSENSE CENTRE HALF, JORDAN PIGGOT BOLSTERED MOORS’ BACKLINE WHEN HE SIGNED ON 17 JULY 2020.
Heralding from Tipton, centre-back Piggott began his footballing education with West Brom but never broke through to the senior side.
For his next move, Piggott looked north of the border and signed for Scottish Premier League Side Dundee in July 2017.
A loan spell at East Fife followed before Piggott was released the following summer. After a mixed time of it at Bangor City, the defender returned to the Midlands.
He joined Halesowen Town in 2019. He became a regular for the Southern League Central Division One side and even popped up with two goals during the campaign.
Those displays for the Yeltz were enough to persuade Jimmy Shan to bring Piggott to the Moors.
