The Moors manager shares his thoughts

Tim Flowers on the unbeaten home run coming to an end...

"The circumstances in which it came to an end are the most disappointing. It’s a little bit of déjà vu after the Orient game to a certain extent.

"Kyle (Storer) was sent off after 18/19 minutes and we had to play 70 minutes with 10 men so it’s a real tough ask for a group of lads to dog around for that amount of time.

"I thought they were terrific in terms of their resilience, heart, spirit and effort.

"We end up getting done by a great strike from their best player. He was operating at a much higher level and he’s a good player.

"In the end, those cross-shots that we had came to nothing but I thought the lads were terrific."

Tim Flowers on Adi Yussuf coming off injured...

"Adi felt his groin straight away and said he had to come off – that was a straight swap with Kwame (Thomas)."

Tim Flowers on how his side coped with 10 men...

"Under the circumstances, it was a real good effort. It’s a shame because it’s spoiled the game from a very early stage.

"I’ll have to look back at the tape, I don’t know if it’s a red card. It’s something that we didn’t need – that’s two sending off’s in two games which is disappointing.

"I don’t understand if it was with malicious intent because Kyle isn’t that kind of lad. We have to pay the consequences.

"It just goes to show how tight this league is, there was absolutely nothing between the two teams.

"Booty’s (Ryan Boot) made a couple of really good one-one-one saves, good blocks and brave – he’s a good goalkeeper, Ryan. He’s done really well for us since he came in.

"The back four were concentrated and stuck to their task. The midfield four had to do a lot of leg work, it’s hard work and they’ve had to do it for 70 minutes.

"I’ve got no qualms with that in terms of work rate, effort, heart and commitment. At 11 v 11 for 90 minutes, it would’ve been a very interesting game."

Tim Flowers on next Saturday's trip to Dover...

"We’ll train Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We’ve got a squad, so that squad’s going to be used.

"We’ll go down there with a game plan and try and execute it.

"We’ve been done twice in a week to 10 men and it’s costly. It’s costly at any level.

"We’re due a bit of luck and we’re ready to go at Dover 100%. I think I’ve got scope if I want to go out and get somebody, I might be able to.

"At the moment, I’m happy with what I’ve got."
