Chamber announces new Charity of the Year
The Solihull Chamber of Commerce recently announced their Charity of the Year for 2023/24, and after receiving applications from several Solihull-based charities, we are delighted to confirm that the Solihull Moors Foundation was named as the chosen charity.
Moors' Foundation creates a positive pathway for people in the Solihull community through the power of sport. The foundation offers a variety of programmes designed to support the needs of the communities that they serve.
Their common areas of support include education, sports, recreation, social outreach, and a health and wellbeing offer. The foundation reaches over 2000 people from ages as young as four-years old to 82-years old. The aim is to build healthier and happier communities, and to create opportunities that improve the health and quality of life of people in communities across Solihull and the surrounding areas.

"Having supported SoLO Life Opportunities for the past 12 months, we have been able to raise vital funds through a range of activities and enable them to improve their Walnut Close base bathroom by adding additional, modernised and functional changing facilities, a vital facility needed for their service users.
"The aim of this partnership is to support charities doing meaningful and impactful work in and around the Solihull area and it is already clear from conversations with Becci that there is a lot of passion behind the work taking place at Solihull Moors Foundation. We are very much looking forward to engaging the business community in supporting their programmes."
