Sam Brown's Solihull Moors U10s achieved an incredible 9-0 win, over Solihull M in Sundays Autumn Cup Final at the Armco Arena. The boys started slowly but went into half-time a goal up thanks to Azariah's smart finish.
After the break the boys really go into a rhythm, going on to score another eight goals.
Three more goals from Azariah, a screamer from Freddie, Jack with two lovely finishes and finished off by Alfie with a pen and a suberb individual goal by Alfie who was through on goal and delightfully chipped the GK from 15 yards out to cap off an amazing win and secure the trophy!
This caps an incredible last 12 months for the boys who, since summer 2022, have now won 13 out of 14 tournaments & cups they have entered.
A massively talented group and manager Sam Brown spoke how proud he has been of their development and success after the game.
The team have been at Moors for three seasons now and in that time have only lost three games in total & have won over 20 trophy's and more importantly developed and improved not only as footballers but as people too.
They work hard in training, they get on really well away from the pitch and have countless sleepovers and away days. Many of the group have had to bounce back from being let go by academies but have put that disappoint in the past and are now showing how talented they are within a great environment at Moors.
There's a bright future ahead for all of them and they are such a credit to the football club and foundation.
Keep up the fantastic work 👊
