In the Opposite Dugout – Danny Searle
Danny Searle joined the Shots in May 2019 after spending the second half of the 2018/19 season in charge of Braintree Town. The 41-year-old holds a UEFA Pro Licence and has coached in the Academies of Chelsea, Charlton Athletic, Southend United and lastly, West Ham United where he was their Academy’s Head of Coaching.
He joined Braintree in 2018 as Assistant Manager to Hakan Heyrettin and took over as First Team Manager when Heyrettin joined Maidstone in January 2019. In his short tenure in charge of the Iron they beat both Play-Off finalists Salford City and AFC Fylde and drew at the Champions Leyton Orient on the final day of the season. Unfortunately for the Iron their upturn in form wasn’t enough to keep them in the division and they were relegated along with the Shots, however he departed Braintree as a popular figure and is held in high regard by fans and staff there.
One To Watch – Corie Andrews
Andrews, who is a forward by trade, is a product of the academy system at Premier League side Crystal Palace, spending 10 years there and earning the Academy Player of the Year in 2014, before being rewarded with a professional contract at the age of 17.
Since then, the 23-year-old has had spells in non-league with a number of clubs including: Margate, Whyteleafe and most recently Kingstonian before moving to League One side AFC Wimbledon. The forward joined The Shots (initially on loan until January 2022) on the back of a campaign where he played a part in AFC Wimbledon’s survival in the third division of English football.
Andrews already has three goals to his name this season, including a brace Notts County last time out.
The Moors have won each of their last five league meetings against the Shots.

James Ball and Adam Rooney both played in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the start of the week as the duo edge a step closer to making a comeback.
Jamey Osborne is a little bit behind the rest of those returning, but it is hoped there will be more good news in the next week or two.

Moors will be in the light blue/dark blue away kit for the first time this season, with the goalkeeper in all green.
