Goalkeeper Tom Allsopp has completed a short-term loan move to Banbury United.

The 19-year-old will remain with the Puritans until 22nd December and is available for their Southern League Premier Central fixture away to leaders Coalville Town this evening.

Banbury sit third following an unbeaten start to the campaign under Andy Whing, winning each of their last eight league matches.

A graduate from the club’s Football and Education Programme, Allsopp signed his first professional contract with Moors in the summer.

He put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract, with the option of a further year in the club’s favour.

There has been no shortage of first team involvement for Allsopp - the stopper has caught the eye in training and relished his inclusion in matchday warm-ups.

He made his senior debut in October’s Birmingham FA Senior Cup tie at Lye Town, while Allsopp has also appeared on the bench in the National League and FA Cup this season.

Good luck, Tom!
