Moors centre themselves on strong community values and club partners Draintech are much the same, illustrated by their work throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Draintech are drainage experts who, despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, have continued to deliver a full 24hr service to those in need of their assistance.
Cliff Beasley, Managing Director of Draintech, is incredibly proud of the commitment shown by his workforce and the way in which they have overcome the testing times.
“I have to pay tribute to my teams who worked tirelessly throughout to deliver vital services,” he said.
“It takes a special kind of person to enter a property to do their work knowing that Covid-19 is present.
“Our brief was to maintain services whatever the circumstances to prevent further disease and we did exactly that.
“My heart goes out to those who have been affected by the unprecedented times that we are experiencing, people lost loved ones, businesses.
“Generally the whole situation has been mentally and physically challenging for us all. But as a business we rose to that challenge and beyond.”
It’s that dedication to helping the community that has seen Draintech become a long-term partner of the Moors, with the two aligned in their sense of duty to those around them.
The Solihull-based company currently sponsor the Draintech Stand at the stadium, even with games played behind-closed-doors, and their affiliation with the club goes back several seasons.
An incredible show of support to the club but Cliff is only too happy to do so, citing the charitable nature of the Moors as the main reason for his continued backing.
“When I first got involved, I was amazed at the potential of a club right on our doorstep,” he said.
“Moors appeared to have a dedicated fan base who were all willing to help with the running of the football club, giving their time and support for free.
“It was then that I realised local businesses needed to get on board and help turn this great club into something special.
“Draintech have been keen supporters ever since and continue to support the club.
“I cannot wait to get back down to the ground with the rest of the community and cheer on the Moors once again! I look forward to supporting the Moors for many years to come.”
