A check-in with our Elite Academy as we approach the end of the season.
It's been another remarkable year for the Solihull Moors Elite Academy with five first team debuts and our sides flying-high in the academy leagues.
Morgan Owen, Kian Ryley, Finn Howell, Leo Wood and Joel Shambrook have all featured for Neal Ardley's first team in the 2022/23 campaign, highlighting the success of the Academy in its second year.
Likewise, it's also been an impressive performance across our league campaigns. On Monday, we lifted our first silverware of the season as our Academy stars lifted the Midland Floodlit League title at Studley Sports Centre, and Mike Fowler will be hoping for even more honours come the end of the season.

Second Years:
Many of this season's first-team stars have been regulars again for our 2nd Years and have taken the Academy North Division title to the final game of the season.
On Friday, goals from Harry Lake, Kian Ryley and Leo Wood ensured a 3-2 victory away at Altrincham, meaning they close the gap on Blyth Spartans to just one point.
It's been a heroic effort to take the title into the final game of the season. Five wins on the spin have kept them in touching distance of the runaway leaders and the pressure is now on the side from the North East in their final outing.
Blyth will face York, whereas Moors will travel to AFC Fylde - a side that they dispatched 9-1 earlier in the season.

It's been an impressive year for our 1st Years, however, they can only get within a point of league leaders Stourbridge with two games to play.
Despite that, there was an impressive 5-0 victory against Birmingham City Community Trust on Wednesday as we look to finish the season strongly and secure 2nd place ahead of Halesowen Town and Boldmere St. Michaels.
