The vastly-experienced coach’s arrival followed the simultaneous departure of Marcus Bignot , Micky Moore and Gary Whild.
Keith worked as Steve Bruce’s assistant in the top two tiers of English football at Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic, Sunderland and Hull City over a period spanning 2007 - 2016
Born in North London, Keith’s career as a striker started with local team Barnet, then onto Ipswich Town before joining Birmingham City in 1977. In 143 appearances for Blues he netted 41 times and was part of the team promoted to the Championship in 1979/80. He then signed for Norwich City and again was a key member of the squad who were elevated to the Championship in 1981/82.
In total Keith played for 26 years at 17 clubs in professional and non-league football which included three England Under-21 caps. However, locally, he will always be remembered for his time at St. Andrew’s.
Interestingly Keith also turned out for one of The Moors’ forerunners, Solihull Borough, during the 1992/93 season.
