Solihull Moors land Coventry City striker on loan
*Kwame Thomas joins on a short-term loan until January*
PUBLISHED: 17th Nov 17

Solihull Moors are pleased to announce the signing of Coventry City striker Kwame Thomas on a short-term loan deal until January 6th 2018.

The 22-year-old, who becomes the first addition to the Mark Yates era, began his career at Derby County and made four Championship appearances for the Rams. His time in the East Midlands also saw him gain experience on loan at Notts County and Blackpool.

Thomas joined Coventry in the summer of 2016 and featured 14 times in his first season at the Ricoh Arena, scoring on three occasions – his first professional goal coming in a 3-2 defeat to Oldham Athletic in League One.

With first-team opportunities limited under Mark Robins, the forward spent a month on loan at fellow Vanarama National League side Sutton United earlier this campaign. In his short time with Paul Doswell’s team, Thomas featured three times and made his last appearance in their 1-1 draw with Wrexham at the end of September.

He also has experience at international level, having represented England at U16, U17 and U20 level.

Thomas will wear the number 37 shirt for The Moors and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Maidstone United.
