Gary Whild reacts to Sutton defeat
*'Unfortunately the same thing keeps happening' - by Luke Turner*

Solihull Moors caretaker manager Gary Whild pointed towards the way his side are conceding goals as the downfall, after the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sutton United.

He said: “We’ve been in the game, but unfortunately the same thing keeps happening. Something tells you that things need to change.

“If it’s happening week in week out, then it needs to be addressed. If you look at the goals we conceded and then look back on some of the other games, they’re very similar and they’re things that you need to be able to cope with.

“They’re trying as best they can but they need a bit of help and I think that won’t come on the coaching side of it, it’ll come by refreshing the dressing room with some new personal that will help the lads who are here.

“It’s not rocket science, if the same things are happening and they know it’s happening because they’re saying it themselves that they’re conceding stupid goals.

“You look at the first goal today, it was a comedy of errors really and confidence is low when that happens to you.”

Despite the recent struggles, Whild praised the attitude of the players and is sure that the current crop will be given some help when a new manager takes over the reins.

“Their attitude to knowing they’re in this situation and that they’ve got to get themselves organised, that hasn’t been a problem over the last couple of weeks.

“Hopefully someone comes in and it needs someone to come in and address the situation. I’m sure whoever it is will have his ideas on bringing two or three lads in.”
