Richard Money previews Emirates FA Cup clash with Ossett Town
*'It is an important game for the club and we want to go through'*
PUBLISHED: 13th Oct 17

Manager Richard Money has stressed the importance of Solihull Moors progressing to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup this weekend.

Moors host Ossett Town of the Evo-Stick Division One North at the Automated Technology Group Stadium on Saturday for a place in the draw for the First Round Proper.

“On Saturday we will pick what we think is the best team,” Money said. “It is an important game for the club and we want to go through.”

Money revealed that the queue for the treatment table is beginning to shorten and that a couple of returning players are likely to be available for selection against Ossett.

“There are one or two closer to coming back, and one or two who may be able to be on the bench at the weekend, which is a step in the right direction,” he said.

“Loanees Ben Fox and Joe Payne have gone back to their parent clubs but Fiacre Kelleher, Courtney Richards, Dan Cleary, Tahvon Campbell and Wes McDonald can all play.”

Money is working behind the scenes to strengthen the squad and has already brought in Coventry City left-back Chris Camwell who is eligible for selection tomorrow. However, the manager insists that the players coming into the club need to be the right ones and those that can make an impact: “We need to bring people in who are going to improve us dramatically, otherwise we won’t do it.”
