Club statement - Another positive step
*Ground grading further proof of a bright future for The Moors*
Solihull Moors are delighted to confirm that The Automated Technology Group Stadium has been granted ‘Grade A’ by The FA Ground Grading Technical Panel.

The confirmation – following a series of recent inspections – gives the club the green light to continue its ambition to remain competitive in the Vanarama National League.

Upgrading work around the Damson Parkway base will see capacity rise to 4,313 and the new grading marks another chapter of the most significant season in the club’s history.

From the Board of Directors to the Solihull Moors Supporters Association (SMSA), it has been a team effort to achieve compliance and this latest confirmation acts as another reminder of the ambitious steps being made at the football club.

With just four games of the season remaining, Liam McDonald has helped to ensure that The Moors are still in sight of achieving their number one priority of survival from the club’s first season in the top tier of non-league football.

McDonald has also proactively worked with the Board to help implement a realistic and sustainable playing budget that will allow the club to continue to prosper under his stewardship beyond this campaign.

The success of Solihull’s debut season in the Vanarama National League is evidence of everybody pulling together against the odds. However, as the recent run of results and the impact of injuries on a part-time squad have proven, there’s still plenty of work to be done to finish the 2016/17 campaign on a high.

From SMSA’s ‘Stand up for The Moors’ campaign, the overwhelming attendance at the community team’s #BigCelebration day, the first-team promotion of academy graduates such as Callum Coyle to the talented duo of Oladapo Afolayan and Simeon Maye signing new deals, the future is bright for this football club.

However, starting with Good Friday’s visit of York City, we need everybody associated with The Moors to continue to pull together and maintain this remarkable journey.
